Subsidiaries, Related Entities, Joint Ventures and Subcontractors
The solicitation documents shall require the invited vendors to indicate in their responses whether any goods, services or works are to be provided by a
subsidiary, a
related entity or a sub-contractor. In this context "related entity" means:
A company controlling the vendor,
A company which is under common control within the same group of companies as the vendor submitting the bid or proposal.
The solicitation documents shall indicate that the UN prefers dealing only with one party or focal point for the administration of the contract, unless there are special reasons not to do so.
