Upon receiving the Requisition from the Requisitioner, Procurement Staff must ensure that: All Requisitions conform to the general principles of Financial Regulation 5.12, giving due consideration to: • Best Value for Money • Fairness, integrity and transparency • Effective International Competition • The interest of the United Nations All Requisitions conform to the Financial Regulations and Rules (FRR), procedures and industry practices followed by the UN

Measures Against Non-Conformance The Procurement Officer/Assistant must bring any instances of non-conformance to the attention of the Requisitioner and the Requisitioner will then correct the Requisition accordingly.
