H2C, a supplier of water treatment chemicals wants to register on the UN/PD Vendor Register. The supplier however is not familiar with the UN/PD guidelines for vendor registration. He inquires about the mandatory requirements that he must fulfil in order to get himself registered with the UN/PD.
You tell the applicant that "The UN procures on an international basis from vendors of all sizes and from all geographical locations. Sometimes the requirements are large and sometimes the requirements are small. For this reason, we have different levels of registration and companies can choose the level at which they wish to register based on the size of their company and the size of contract that they are able to manage.
You must provide information and documents depending on the level of registration you want. There are four levels of registration an applicant can select from:
Level 1: Value of contract award less than USD 200,000
Level 2: Value of contract award USD 200,000 to less than USD 1 million
Level 3: Value of contract award USD 1 million to less than USD 5 million
